The beautiful part about this delicious meal is it is great alone for those of you who are watching your carbs but you can also add rice or pasta when you need to get those carbs in, making it the perfect dish for busy families with different goals.
Ingredients:
1. 6-8 chicken thighs
2. Dash of salt and pepper
3. Dash of paprika
4. 1/2 cup dry white wine OR chicken broth
5. 1 (10oz) can cream of mushroom soup
6. 8 ounces sliced baby bella mushrooms
7. 1 cup sour cream
8. 1/4 cup all purpose flour
Optional: parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Sprinkle the chicken breasts with salt, pepper and paprika and place in slow cooker.
Combine the wine or broth, condensed soup and mushrooms. Blend well and pour over chicken.
Add another dash of paprika.
Add lid and cook on low for 5 to 7 hours or high for 2 to 2 and 1/2 hours.
Mix flour and sour cream together until smooth and then add to the slow cooker. Cook for about 20 minutes until hot and thick.
If sauce is too thick, add milk, cream or broth.
Plate with a green veggie, rice or pasta, depending on your goals. Add parsley garnish, if you like.
